How to use the app:

In the past you had to keep track of all prices in the shops if you want to save a lot of money while shopping. Today in the era of smart phones however noone needs to memorize all these things. SHOPINFO takes you exactly from this work.

• First enter the shops where you buy regularly. To do this go to Shops and add a new shop by tapping the plus button in the upper right corner. You can expand the list afterwards.

• Now go to the list Products and add your purchases. You can also use the camera icon in the upper left corner for the barcode scanner if you want.

• Next, enter the prices you have seen in the shops. In your products list simply click on the price and enter the different prices for each shop where you have seen the product.

• While using the app you see right to the products name the lowest price and directly below the shop where you can buy it for this price.

• Use the product list also to quickly create your shopping list. Once you tap on a product you see on the left side a green marker. This shows you which product is already on your shopping list. Another tap removes the product from the shopping list.

• While in the the shop you dont have to unlock your phone and launch an app to see your shopping list. You can access your shopping list directly as an iOS 8 Widget in your notification center.

The scanner database already knows many products. SHOPINFO will nevertheless ask you some times to enter the product data manually. The app is based on crowdsourcing. Each new entry a user makes is also available for other users and need not be entered again. So please be patient if not every product will be found directly. This will change in the future automatically.
